GOURI is polycaprolactone in liquid form rather than as microspheres. Because it is not particulate it spreads across the treatment field rather than sitting where it was placed, and it does not require sedation. Conventional particulate PCL and PLLA stimulate collagen effectively but carry a recognised burden of nodule formation; the liquid formulation was developed to address that.
